Readjusting to Human Contact
Will you be hesitant to shake hands, go to concerts, movies, or family parties?
Yes, I will. And I will only be visiting places where I am confident that I can stick to the two metre rule. I think it's important not to just stick to the "rules" for the government, but for ourselves and for others. We have to accept that life is not going to be as it was for a while yet.
I will also be keeping my distance. Just because the virus is easing off, it doesn't mean it isn't still out there.
I am being careful as well, but not as much now that the case numbers are going down.
I think for me those things will still be off-limits. I will probably give it another month or so. With small kids, one cannot take any chances.
I feel more anxious now than when we were in full lockdown. People seem to be becoming somewhat complacent now. The "panic" novelty has worn off and people no longer seem to be sticking to the rules.
@sammy84 Have you heard that the reduction of viral potency has occurred in animal testing?
I agree, I think I will continue about two steps behind everyone else. I am not so certain I trust all of the rules and reopening and that everyone is being safe. In fact, I know many are not. It is good to know that the super spreaders are shut off-- big indoor events-- so that any big rule breaking can't be that bad
